"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Where is your faith?

I know I have been “MIA” for several weeks. The reason? Taking time to discern where my very own faith was.

I decided to be still for a while and listen out for wisdom and for guidance.

Btw, did you know, a tiny mustard seed of faith can move mountains?

It’s true! It not only says so in the Bible (Matthew 17:20), but I have personally and intimately witnessed how very little “human-sized” faith has moved mountains in my own life! And I would be blessed if I take this opportunity to encourage you to choose faith over fear, to trust God and his promises when it comes to your troubles and true heart’s desires, and to practice patience as God reveals HIS faithfulness over time.

You see, in this fallen world, our faith is tested constantly. And, because of this, it is tempting to lose it.

Tragic news of disease and death from disease is troubling! Especially when we feel helpless in the midst of it. Especially when we’ve had a personal encounter with it!

And it’s easy to find ourselves asking, “God, what the heck?!” “God, WHY?!” and/or questioning whether there is a God at all!

It’s also easy to fall into guilt–survivor’s guilt–and lose sight and faith in God’s power and will to heal others, too!

This is exactly what Satan, our biggest enemy, wants.

And he wins when we feel guilty, afraid, and hopeless.

It’s important–no, critical–to remember–no, to know–we are loved, cared for, PROTECTED!

We are GUIDED! Knowledgable, wise, and ON GUARD! We are repentant! GRATEFUL! We speak life, not death!

We do not dwell on what could go wrong, but all that can go right!

WE TRUST GOD’S WILL.

But we don’t trust you, Satan. So, BACK OFF! ‘Cuz our God is in control! Not you! <victory face, sticking tongue out>

This is a faith-based perspective. And it is possible. (Matthew 19:26)

Now go and have yourself a wonderful day ☀️

<warm hug, smile, peace>

Point of clarity from my last post: I don’t know the science behind it yet, but I have found green tea to have a more gentle, subtle caffeine hit than coffee does. Apologies for forgetting to add that and leaving you bewildered 🙂

Next week: “We’re in this together”
